What is enroll and why join?

At enroll, our goal is to create the most unique and powerful collaborative learning ecosystem that allows students, parents, educators, tutors, and organizations to connect. As such, we've created the most cutting edge, user friendly resources and tools for creating an online community for learning success that's worldwide!

Do I have to pay to use enroll?

Enroll does not charge a fee to join or to be an active member in the community. You can create an account to interact with parents, peers, educators, search for schools, and search for scholarships as much as you want!
The only cost within the community is learning or buying something from other users such as tutoring, courses, learning materials, or lesson plans unless they are labeled free.

How do I sign up for enroll?

It's easy! All you need is a Gmail or Facebook. If you've already got a Gmail or Facebook account, head over to our New User page to get started.

How does enroll protect my privacy?

We take our users privacy very seriously to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Your private information, like your email address, phone number or physical address is NOT viewable to anyone on enroll. You only see it when viewing your own account. For more information please read our T&C's and our Privacy Policy.
You can make certain features on your account viewable to the community or not by going to your Privacy Settings in the Settings Menu at the top right corner on enroll.

How can I refer a friend, child, colleague, organization, or teacher to enroll?

We've made it easy for you to encourage others in your life to participate in the enroll community. Simply send them this link to get them set up quickly and easily. It takes less than a minute to start an enroll portfolio!

I have comments or suggestions for making enroll better. Who do I contact?

We love to hear from people like you. Go to our Contact Us Page or send an email to info@enroll.com to let us know what you think or if you've encountered any problems with the site.

Can I make a financial contribution to a student's account without being an enroll user?

Yes you can! Using your Google Wallet, Amazon, or PayPal account, you can add funds to a student account.

How do I close my account?

Please contact Customer Support at service@enroll.com to discuss closing your account.

Why become an enroll Student?

As a student, you can use enroll to create a plan for your next educational steps, finding financial support, and collaborate with other students and educators. Enroll was created for students graduating from middle/secondary school, high school, or those on a continuing education track. Using our comprehensive but easy to navigate database, you can search for the university, college or other post-high school program that fits your learning goals. Students young and adult can also access the enroll community to receive expert guidance in selecting a great academic, professional or personal development class, course, or program, either online and in-person.

Through enroll, you find all the funding opportunities you need to finance your education, whether you're looking for scholarships, student aid, grants, or academic competitions. You can even use enroll's tools to crowd-source funding for your reaching academic objectives.

Is there an age limit to be a student?

In order to sign up with enroll you must be at least 13 years old. Everyone on enroll is considered a student and has the same capabilities as a student. You can never be too old to learn something!

Is there an age limit to be a peer to peer tutor and what are the restrictions?

To be a tutor you must be at least 15 years of age and are only allowed to tutor students under the age of 18 years old.

Why become an enroll Parent?

Our enroll community is packed full of tools for you as a parent, grandparent or guardian of a student to be as involved in his or her educational or career path as you wish. Use enroll to research educational and career programs as well as financing opportunities. Or tap into enroll's easy academic tracking tools to watch and guide your family member's educational applications, learning goals, and achievements.

If you're coming to enroll because a student in your family, under the age of 18, is already an enroll user, you can use our tools to monitor his or her participation in enroll's secure community. What's more, through enroll you can contribute financially to educational costs of a student as their parent, grandparent, or guardian.

I'm a military family. Can we use government funds for enroll?

We're glad you asked! At enroll, we want to make it easy for anyone to get the support and access the tools they need to achieve learning success, including family members of those serving in the US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard, or Reserves. In fact, we are currently working on a partnership with the Department of Defense's Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program (http://www.yellowribbon.mil/) to make it even easier for US military families to access online tutoring and homework help free of charge. What security features are offered to ensure a student's protection in enroll?

Creating a secure online community is of utmost importance for enroll, and as such we've built in many checks and balances to give you peace of mind. Parents must verify the age of all students under the age of 18. What's more, as the parent of an enroll Student, you can control his or her access to the site. This includes the ability to adjust profile information, setting site permissions, approving tutor and mentor contact, and more.

I home school my children. How can enroll benefit?

Enroll can absolutely benefit home schooled children and the parents teaching them. Students can access resources that they normally wouldn't have such as tutors, college search, scholarship search, study materials made by peers, and so much more. As a home schooling parent you can access our lesson plan market where you can search lessons taught by amazing teachers. If you've created lesson plans you can also sell them!

Creating a basic enroll Educator profile is free! Once you sign up and submit credentialing information, you can also choose to upgrade your account and complete a background check to become a Certified Educator with enroll. This unlocks your ability to work with any student on enroll and lowers the fees deducted from your paid tutoring sessions. Plus, through enroll's Marketplace you can purchase teaching materials from other Educators.

How can enroll benefit my students?

How can I earn money as an enroll Educator?

There are several avenues for income generation through enroll. You can offer your services as a teacher by providing one-on-one tutoring sessions for enroll Students. Additionally, you can post and sell lesson plans, videos, flash cards, and other teaching tools to other Educators through the enroll Marketplace.

Why must I provide my first two tutoring sessions free of charge?

We’re building a community that inspires and supports collaborative learning for life, and to do that we want to encourage the act of giving back. That’s why we ask all new enroll Tutors to provide their first two tutoring sessions free of charge. Not only does this help students explore what enroll has to offer, but it also allows you to receive your first reviews as a Tutor so that you can start to build your reputation as an amazing instructor. We believe that this is a great way to vet and allow you to show your skills and expertise. It shows us and the enroll community that you are knowledgeable, and more importantly, can teach what you know. You will be notified at the end of the tutor sessions if the student has used their free credit for your session. Once you have been used for two free sessions and reviewed, all future sessions will be paid.

I don't see my school's name, programs, or courses listed on enroll.com. How can I add and update my institution's enroll profile?

Simply follow this link to get set up quickly and easily. It takes less than a minute to start an enroll portfolio! And if you have additional questions, just email us at info@enroll.com now to talk to someone on our education team!

How can I claim my institution?

To claim your profile, go to this link and confirm you are the admin for your institution/organization. As an admin for your organization, you can claim and upgrade your enroll account. That means you can add pictures, important dates or events, contact information, and most of all, see the data and individual students who have selected your school for their priority school bucket.

How much does it cost to be an enroll Organization?

At this time, enroll is free to all organizations! You can claim your account, upgrade your account, and promote your organization on your public profile page for free!

Enroll will verify institutions and organizations before you are able to claim your profile. Parents, tutors and teachers will be verified by email.
